ARTIST STATEMENT
My watercolour paintings describe mostly the essence of fly fishing, being an angler myself but also tell stories about my environment as a nature lover. My stories are told with my multiple brushes, my love of my natural environment. Consequently, I am more inclined to depict the everyday aspect of my passion, amid the complexity of the water, light, season and mood. For it is this that fuels me in our inordinate conservation commitments and the nonstop chatter in fly shops, galleries, painters plein-air or trips around destinations and gathering.
