Józefina Litwin comes from Poland. She was born in November 1990 in Krosno Odrzańskie. She normally lives with her closest family in a small village located in her country. Currently she‘s studying at the University of Zielona Góra (Poland), where her major is Architecture and Urban Planning. It is all about unremitting observing things and phenomena and using this experience during process of creating. She graduated the college (first- cycle studies) with an engineer architect degree and she is getting also the second one - master degree now.

Ever since, she can recall, any kind of craft work was her passion and she always had strong feelings for this.

She tried her hand her hand at painting and also wood carving, but one an for all, she decided to stick to the painting and she have chosen brush over the chisel.

At first, she was finding a great inspiration in nature as a unity, but then she start to recognize and, what even more, appreciate beauty of special items in her immediate surroundings. She paint portraits, nudes, figurative, landscapes, seascapes, still life and more (all acrylic on canvas), but to fuel her creative desires, she's focusing on, mostly black and white, nudes now. She's saying as long as she working with her hands, she's truly happy.

She usually creates late at night, when everyone else in the house is asleep, because she feels unexplainably at peace at that time.  She thinks that it is an incredible gift that she's able to pour her own vision in literally anything she sees in her mind on canvas.

During the process of creating, she does her best to transform an image in her head into widely understood art. The only time she feels completely free is obvious when she paints, and it's priceless...

Cesar A. Cruz once said: "Art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable" and she totally agrees with this sentence. What she likes the most about painting is the power of not using words...

She really wants to belive, that the viewers want to see something more than just a realistic picture. That realism is not enough. Because it is definitely not for her anymore. During the process of creating, she does her best to transform an image in her head into widely understood art. To touch people personally trough her works, would be a dream come true...

She has to say, she’s truly humbled, that her paintings has caught jury's attention. That means a lot to her. So, she’s now honored to be a member of MONDIAL ART ACADEMIA's (France)
