BIOGRAPHY
Yelena Ralina was born in 1962 in Shymkent (Kazakhstan).
She is a modern Kazakhstan artist specializing both in painting and graphic arts.
She is a member of the Artist's Union of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Associate Member of Kazakh Academy of Art, Winner of the "Keremet" award for the Art nomination (2006, Astana, Kazakhstan).
From 1977 up to 1981 she studied at the Shymkent Art Vocational School named after A. Kosteev.
In 1986 she graduated from Almaty State Institute of Theatre and Art and moved to Tselinograd (now Astana) as part of her postgraduate work assignment. During this period she becomes a permanent participant of different international, national and republican exhibitions and symposia. She participated in more than 300 joint exhibitions and arranged over 30 personal ones. Her works represented Kazakhstan at the largest art exhibitions e.g. Central House of Art in Moscow, "Spring Salon" in St. Petersburg, international show-rooms in Latvia, Poland, Finland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Germany.
The works of the artist can be enjoyed at the permanent exhibitions at the museums of Kazakhstan.
Currently she is living and working at her personal studio in Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan.
