“In each and every one of us, there is an innate yearning to express our unique truths as individuals, and the proclamation of these individual truths is crucial to our own personal realization, and therefore freedom.” Oklahoma City-based visual artist, Jamie Pettis, is living out her dreams on her own expressive journey of self-realization and welcomes you to come along for the ride. The daughter of an artist, Pettis’ creative interests blossomed from an early age. Her first public showing took place when she was just six-years old. She would continue to hone her artistry and technical skills in her father’s studio throughout much of her childhood, working in various mediums. Pettis’ blossoming creativity was further cultivated at the university level where she earned her degree in Fashion Design and Production at Oklahoma State. This would lead to a coveted internship with New York fashion icon, Marc Jacobs, where Pettis further refined her artistic vision and developed a predilection for depicting the female form. As Pettis’ talent was being widely recognized by major galleries, corporations and high-net worth individuals, she founded “Brazen Wolf” to showcase her artistic vision in both her fine art and apparel line. In 2021, Pettis branched out into NFT’s and the digital platforms, creating entire exhibits in the virtual realm. That same year, Pettis would sign with prestigious Beverly Hills-based gallery, Winn Slavin Fine Art.
