Former Deputy Chairman of the South Kazakhstan Regional branch of the public association "Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan". From 1997 to the present - director of the LLP "Creative Association of the Union of Artists and Craftsmen of Kazakhstan".
Kuttybek is a member of the Board of the Turkestan regional branch of the PA "Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan". Delegate of the XIV, XV and XVI XVIII congresses of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, currently is the Chairman of the Board of the PA "Turkestan organization of the Academy of Arts of Kazakhstan".
Original tapestry, created in tapestry loom (traditional tapestry techniques) using mainly fibre (and other various materials). Tapestry designs are driven by color, three dimensional texture.

2015 – personal art exhibition "Echo" held in the South Kazakhstan Regional Museum of Fine Arts in Shymkent, Kazakhstan.
2016 – personal album "Zhakypov Kuttybek Tynybekovich" was released together with the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2016 – personal creative exhibition "Melody of the Ages" hosted by the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana, Kazakhstan.
2016 – personal creative exhibition "Steppe ballad" was held in the Palace of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Astana, Kazakhstan.
2018 – personal creative exhibition "Melody of the Great Steppe" at the National Museum of Fine Arts of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
2021 – personal creative exhibition “Uly dala mekenim” and a presentation of the book “The work of the artist Kuttybek Tynybekuly Zhakyp” were held and presented in the Palace of Culture in Lenger, Turkestan region, Kazakhstan.
2021 – personal creative center "House of Artists" was opened in Turkestan region, Kazakhstan.
