I enjoy using watercolour and Pen-and-Wash techniques to paint. I usually express the beauty of nature with watercolour, while drawing ancient villages and telling their stories with Pen-and-Wash technique. I have spent more time in nature in the past few years. Many of my paintings depict sceneries that I admire during hiking or kayaking. I enjoy using pen-and-wash for sketching. It is a flexible technique that I can frequently use on a casual basis. Adding a layer of watercolour can give the sketch more lively and intensify my expressions on the subject.
